A beautiful and practical 3 Bedroom, Den and 2 full bathroom home on a spacious private lot was built in the summer of 2014 considering the needs of a young family or semi-retired couple. All on one level with easy access to the expansive rear yard! You will enjoy all the beauty the Northwest has to offer from this home including your public water access, outdoor patio and the large yard with beautiful landscaping and outlook. Drayton Harbor is at your doorstep… so close you can breathe in the fresh salt air and hear the bald eagles searching for fish.
Walking inside and you’ll feel “at home” in this very efficient and functional floor plan. The home provides all the necessary comforts and amenities, it is warm and clean with a generously sized 2 car garage.

In line with our goal to work with architecturally interesting products we were pleased to take on the Roslyn Remodel. The two car front entry garage was not only too small but did not provide the privacy they desired. The result is a three car garage with loft above.
Two of the garage doors face north and the third very large bay faces west. Function was enhanced by the circular double entry and paver stone driveway accented by columns and beautiful aluminum rolling gates. This created a grander, more private entrance with added security.
The roof will be layered with real slate stone that will be accented by cedar soffits. In addition, we enlarged their laundry room, storage rooms, added a greenhouse and perimeter fencing.
We also added our first food rotation system! The heating system was converted to a high efficiency double heat pump system.
This private residence designed by Wynn & Associates was conceived by the Owner’s desire to live in a beautiful, functional modern home taking advantage of an outstanding city and ocean view.
The design considered the sloping lot, eastern sun rise and western sunset. The result was a unique masterpiece using the earth’s most natural resources; stone, wood, steel and glass combined with distinctive architectural lines.
Each level contains windows that span from the floor to a line above the 10’ ceilings creating an illusion of a 3 story glass column. The natural stone fireplaces are suspended in the air and the stairways appear to float up each level yet the stair treads are bulky natural wood beams.
Gas fireplaces and radiant hot water heated floors under bamboo hardwood and concrete create a most comfortable interior environment of very even temperatures radiating from the floor to the ceilings. The water fountain outside completes this home with a very Zen like feeling.
Deconstruction: One of our primary sustainable strategies is to deconstruct rather than demolish when there is a home on the premises that needs to be removed.
If done properly it is an affordable alternative to dumping tons of waste into the city’s disposal facilities significantly reducing this very negative impact on the earth.
A perfect example of this is the Nelson Residence. In 8 days the home was deconstructed by hand using 4 men!
